Anna Petrova is considered by audiences and critics alike as one of the

Romania, and other European countries.
Since an early age, she has been highly praised for her performances as
both a recitalist and orchestra soloist in her native Bulgaria, as well
as in Serbia, Macedonia, Germany, France, Netherlands, Austria, Italy,
Spain, and the United States, in prestigious halls such as Steinway
Hall, Carnegie Hall (New York), Conservatoire Russe (Paris), Bösendorfer
Hall (Vienna), Auditorio Ciudad de León (Spain), and National
Philharmonic Hall (Sofia). She has performed as a soloist with such
orchestras as Sofia National Philharmonic Orchestra, Plovdiv
Philharmonic Orchestra, Pazardjik Symphony Orchestra, Shumen
Philharmonic Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfónica Iuventas in Spain, Joven
Orquesta Nacional de España, Joven Orquesta Solidaria de Valencia, and
Joven Orquesta de Andalucía, also in Spain. Her performances have been
broadcast on Bulgarian national radio and television.
In January of this year Anna was invited by conductor Philippe Entremont
to make her New York debut with Mozart concerto K.271 and the Manhattan
Chamber Sinfonia.
Future engagements include solo and concerto performances in Bulgaria,
United States, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Spain.

of the acclaimed Shostakovich biographer and scholar Sofia Khentova),
she moved to New York in 2005, where four years later she completed a
Bachelor´s degree as a full scholarship student of Horacio Gutiérrez at
the Manhattan School of Music. She is currently in her fiftth year of
studies, as a candidate for the Master of Music Degree, now in the
