MOYE KOLODIN

 

 

MOYE KOLODIN was born in 1987 in Freiburg, Germany.
He began studying the piano at the age of seven with his mother Prof. Elza Kolodin and at twelve he won the national music competition „Jugend Musiziert“ and got the special prize of the national savings-bank for outstanding talents.
Since 2006 Moye is student of Jacques Rouvier at the Conservatoire de Paris where he also studied Chamber Music with Itamar Golan. During the years, he has attended international masterclasses with Dmitri Bashkirov, Joaquin Soriano, Vitalij Margulis and others.
He became prizes at the international piano competitions of „Ciutat de Carlet“ and „Vila de Capdepera“ in Spain, the first prize at the ‚Concours International de Piano de Brest’ France, the Grand Prix at the ‚Tjarri Piano Competition’ in Cyprus and other Prizes in Italy and Germany. In 2006 he was awarded with the Europeean Prize for Culture by the foundation ‚Pro Europa’ in Bern, Switzerland.
He played with orchestras such as the Slesian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Baden-Württemberg Youth Orchestra, the Capella Bydgostiensis and the Chamber orchestra of Stuttgart.
Moye gets a scholarship of the German National Academic Foundation, germanys largest and most prestigious organisation sponsoring the academically gifted.
