The Tokyo Quartet master classes are intended for chamber music ensembles who have been working together for some time. The preferred type of ensemble is the String Quartet, although other groups are also welcome to apply (string quintets, quintets with piano or with clarinet, quartets with piano, string trios, and trios with piano). For eventual acceptance of other wind-string combinations apart from those mentioned above, please consult the course organizers.
Auditors (music students, professors, musicians and music lovers) are also welcome to attend the Master Class.

Active students: 95 € per ensemble member.
Auditors: 50 €

REQUIREMENTS
ACTIVE STUDENTS:
All ensembles who wish to enrol as active participants in the master class should send the following documents to the address mentioned below.
before February 14th, 2010:
1.- Registration form duly filled out with the required information.

2.- One (1) CD or DVD recording of the ensemble
containing a minimum of 20 min. of music
3.- One (1) summary (CV) of the ensemble's activities in recent years.
4.- One (1) recent photo of the ensemble.
5.- One (1) photocopy of each ensemble member's identity document (passport or National Identity Card)
6.- Proof of transfer of the registration fee: 38 € (= 40 % of the total fee).

Ensembles who are selected and admitted as active participants
should make their final enrolment before March 20th, 2010.

Those ensembles who do not pass the selection process can still attend as auditors if they so wish.

AUDITORS:
1.- Duly filled out registration form (the form can be downloaded at www.fundacioneutherpe.com).
2.- One (1) small photo (standard document size).
3.- Proof of bank transfer of the total auditor fee: 50 €

COURSE CONTENT:
Each ensemble will receive 1 1/2 hours (90 min.) of instruction from the members of the Tokyo Quartet. The ensemble members can then attend all other classes as auditors.
If slots remain available, certain ensembles may be able to receive further instruction after paying the fee for an additional class (please consult the organizers)

IMPORTANT NOTE:

If you are forced to cancel your enrolment due to unforeseen circumstances, you are only allowed to cancel via notification before April 1st, 2010, in which case the total enrolment fee ( minus 10 % ) will be reimbursed to you. If you fail to attend the course without prior justification or notification, your enrolment fee will not be reimbursed under any circumstances whatsoever.
